I think between the lower IP's I've been seeing this qtr and the $40 million acrrual charge due this qtr...it ain't gonna be good.
Moving to Kansas focus which requires infrastructure spend tells me the ample inventory of drilling locations within the existing infrastructure isn't up to snuff. I've see one good well of 900 bopd and one around 400 bopd and way too many blow 50 bopd....toss in the decline rates and it doesn't look good. Granted they hit a good well in Kansas...but OK results show the Miss Lime doesn't offer up very repeatable results....and I'm not so sure that Kansas will be any more repeatable. Granted Bennett is doing good on cost controls....but if the drill bit isn't finding honey consistently then it doesn't matter. If they come out with more definition than what's been provided and I hope they do...then maybe I'll lower my guard. I think for now I'm at neutral pending 4th qtr results. Curious if anyone has been tracking the IP averages of late versus the norm ? JMHO GLTA
