    Kudo's To Amylin....

post indeed - but remember, the FDA set up a 12th hr roadblock which set things back until now. What happens now probably depends on how much longer FDA Commissioner Hamburg wants to jack thing around while her hubby's hedge fund rakes in the big $$$ on their investment in NOVO - it sucks that there is such a conflict of interest -- and yes, I complained to the FDA, congressmen, and the ethics oversight committee ... fat lot of good that provoked ....

    • Conspiracy theories are almost without exception simply nonsense. They are constructed by people who need an explanation for events that are persistently and aggravatingly contrary to their needs, wants, and or expectations. Conspiracy theories (and other fantastic narratives) are created and persist because there are no constraints on the universe of facts and observations that can be sampled as evidence. Also, there is an unlimited amount of time for the disappointed to carefully piece oddments into a "plausible picture". The most simple explanation for Amylin's repeated failures is the band of chimpanzees that is "managing" the effort. As the idiots in Dan Diego have been getting on the job training they also looted the company through excessively generous salaries and stock options. NONE of it was or is deserved if performance is the metric. Maybe if I were Danny or Orville's relative I would also make excuses for them by parroting one of the many Conspiracy Theories surrounding Amylin's hideous performance.

      • eloquent statement indeed. I do agree that the company is being run by morons -- but, it isn't a conspiracy THEROY that I pointed out - it's a fact... check it out-- Renaissance Tech's made a ton of dough on Novo (because of Victoza), while the FDA has jacked Bydureon into 2012. I know you're an expert at everything - since you hammer Kev all the time -- but you're missing the boat on this one -- go pontificate somewhere else ...
