    ACUR gearing up for...????

"We believe the shelf registration statement provides us with a potential source of capital for corporate purposes, such as for working capital and acquisitions," said Bob Jones, President and Chief Executive Officer of Acura.

So, there you have it. It looks like ACUR is preparing to acquire, but whom and why? Production facility, would be the most likely explanation. It seems to me that management is not in the mood to sell the company yet. What do you think?

    • Personally I think that it looks like this company doesn't want to sell itself, which means that management sees great potential for its products. Unfortunatelly for us who are holding, this means that this stock will not go up for a long time. In my opinion, this stock will keep drifting mostly sideways until we get some substantial news, maybe in a few weeks, most likely in a few months, so i hope you guys don't need the money you invested here soon because this is going to take a while. On a positive note, i am very confident that this company will reward patient shareholders richly this year. Those are my 2 cents. Good luck to all!

    • I would be interested to see other shareholders thoughts on this myself. I believe this provides acur with capital if need be, to ramp up some sort of production capability obviously, but one other idea, is that it could be bait for someone larger to step in and take over. just a thought.? Something is going on either way behind closed doors.

      Sentiment: Hold
