There are some signs that SGI board has identified a new CEO and he should be announced this week and maybe even after 4PM. How a new CEO will impact the stock price? Most likely short funds will initiate articles that will be talking down the new CEO
As I said before..AMD doing well with no CEO for some time now... this is not a priority.... SGI doing fine too, revenues growing, new products with good acceptance by customers, margins will be fixed. Will be much higher after June.
you should ask the truth detective what is going to happen here.
also, if they pick a ceo it will probably do worse than good unless the stock is already at 6. more people would buy at these levels hoping for a takeover, otherwise, they will be stuck with another barron who drifts the company for w few more years.
you never know you may get a former CEO of another failed IT company what will you do? There are tons out there like the former CEO of Extreme networks or Blue Coat System. The question is whether the board feels they should continue to linger or just move on.
Shorti, they will have a new CEO sooner than later.....this is a minor issue as in the big picture they already do what is needed. For traders, not the right place, but for investors they try to grow revenues and increase market share....then will find the way to milk more from those, as they are not going to change data toys every day. They have excellent technological abilities.... will probably get a bid at this level with large premium.
I am long here too, no need to bring false rumors.... they said they had few good candidates already, but will be decided within 2 months.. yes could be today too. But it is a solid growing company and current management team is doing the right thing (within their control), in my opinion. They already addressed most of the margins problems and working on solutions while for sure increasing market share, just came out with new products, and growing revenues. Not to worry. For investment purpose a great buy here with potential 100% return and small risk at current price.
