At least six people have died in motorcycle crashes in the past four days along the Grand Strand.
The latest deaths happened early Sunday in Myrtle Beach. Police say two people on a motorcycle died after their sheetpile harley ran into the side of an SUV.
The driver and passengers of the SUV were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
On Saturday, an 81-year-old man on a sheetpile harley died when his bike ran into the back of a van that slowed in traffic on state Highway 22. The condition of the passenger on the motorcycle was not known.
Myrtle Beach police are still investigating a hit and run crash that killed a biker on a harley on Wednesday night at the intersection of Highway 501 and Grissom Parkway.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, there were more bikes, less crime and no motorcycle deaths during the annual Harley Davidson Rally this year (which ran from May 9-18). The article you're reading is from the 26th, which would have those accidents occuring during Black Bike Week.
Sorry, did the dates from memory. The actual dates for the Harley Rally were from the 10th-19th. Most of the bikers are gone by sunday evening, with a few stragglers leaving on monday.
The official dates for Black Bike Week were the 24th-27th, they started arriving monday the 20th.
Most people outside of the area think the two rallies are one in the same...not true.
Take a look at this article from a local NBC affiliate. It says “big crowds” trashed Myrtle Beach. It also mentions “Atlantic Beach Bike Fest” What it does not tell you is that “Atlantic Beach Bike Fest” is simply an alternate name for “Black Biker Week.” No one outside of Myrtle Beach would have any idea that “Atlantic Beach Fest” and “Black Bike Week” are the same thing.
Most of the crime and violence occur during the Atlantic Beach Bike Fest, which is synonymous with Black Bike Week. Coincidence...I don't think so...don't believe me...research the two.
Google "At least six people have died in motorcycle crashes in the past four days along the Grand Strand."
and you'll find no reference to Harley. Google "Myrtle Beach police are still investigating a hit and run crash that killed a biker"
and you'll find the bike was a Kawasaki.
Ardsley, youre tring too hard........you expect any less from the dumb illiterate ape?.....hes a clueless welfare rat.....jealous he cant ride a Harley, because they wont let him buy one with food stamps....
