    Invest in SIRI...

Investors, take a hard look at SIRI (Sirius) satellite radio. There are only two satellite radio service providers, SIRI & XMRS. Sirius's financials are strong, it has better service to offer and the idea has already clicked with the masses and big car mnfg. companies. By the end of year users are expected to be 1 mm plus. SIRI's stock is undervalued and XMSR's stock is overvalued. Do your own DD and take a decision...

    • Didn,t I read somewhere that by law there can be only two satalite radio companys because of the cost of putting satalites into space. Now if Sirius is close to going bankrupt. Which it appears to be that would make XM the monopoly of all monopolies at least in the short term. Seems like that would be the better investment. Holy Microsoft!

    • 1) XM will reach breakeven in less than 1 year, siri with will probably never be.
      2) GM and Honda factory install will exceed 2 million by this time next year and Sirius to date has close to 0.
      3) XM will have 1.4 million subs by EOY
      4) XM is a full generation of kit ahead
      5) sirius has 1 billion shares outstanding and no plan to reach profitability.
      6) XM is fully funded
      7) Need i say more:

    • I dont think SIRI will ever be mainstream, at least not in the near future.
Consumers are being billed to death, who wants to pay another fee every month to get good radio in your car. Rise in oil takes spending money from the consumer. It takes a lot of "extra" money to justify a monthly fee for good tunes while you drive around...I'm sure a lot of people will check it out but their renewels will be poor, IMHO

      • The current churn of listeners is only 2%. You remember the days Cable TV, then Satellite TV were pooh-poohed. Moreover, this concept is not appplicable only to cars, but to trucks, boats, planes, even at home. Check out the hardware around X'mas time available in Best Buys. New hardware is coming out soon. Current FM channels are filled with commercials, to support heavy overheads, and are less filled with music. Moreover, distance from source means frequency is lost, while with satellite radio you can travel cross country or cross ocean, yet listen to the radio channel of your choice with zero commercials. Sorry to all other readers for posting SIRI messages here. If you want to talk more abt it come to SIRI board.
