There is vritually no stimulus money for alternative energy or rail. 900 billion of the money goes to Soc. Sec., Education Grants, Aid to States, Extending Unemployment, $250 to each SS recipient, Expanding Medicare, Extending Unemployment Benefits. $50 billion to make Federal buildings and schools more energy efficient. I was shocked when Wallace referenced stimulus money in his conference call because he knows, or should know, that there is no money there for TRN. The bill was originally slated as bill on alternative energy and "shovel ready" construction projects. If the bill actually came out like that then TRN wind towers, highway equipment and construction aggregates would have benefited. But look over the bill, there is nothing there for TRN.
Lionel, That is $93 million dollars. TRN revenue in 09 is expected to be 2.72 billion dollars. What percentage of 93 million will TRN get and what would that much money mean to a 2.7 Billion dollar company?
