I Don't expect a great report but I do expect for us to continue growing at the same clip. That is very important for us. I think our breakout year is next year. The next Q will be important but this is still to early for MM.
I love MM, but if I am going to be honest, I imagine that at this point, Mobile advertising is not yet as profitable as forcasted and MM is not going to hit a homerun on this earnings report. That said, I am not selling.
The reason for this would be GOOG is having trouble shifting clients from desktop ads to mobile ads, as well as fully transitioning to mobile ads, whereas MM has been SOLELY focused on mobile ads from the beginning and should logically have a head start from the technology aspect, although goog would have the advantage in brand name
Google has no problem shifting it simply cannot charge the same rates. This obviously affects the top line. MM has never had these rates so we are just building market share and chugging along. The rates will eventually stabilize and new revenue streams will appear. This is the beauty for MM. Goog has to adapt we simply keep growing. The large companies know this and since we have no financial duress we will eventually be bought at a reasonable price. PP knows this the longer he holds the better for all of us.
