These numbers tell you everything you need to know why Obama is going to change this country -- big time.
Oh, and that less than 1% control almost all the wealth in this country.
Change is a coming.
You people that keep spewing about wealthy people being evil make me disgusted. So many losers bashing achievers and people that go out and make something great out of their life instead of sitting home drinking beer and watching mindless TV shows like american idol or CSI or any of that other garbage they put on tv.
Yes there are some crooked people, but I assure you there are MANY more crooked broke people.
I go out and achieve the "American dream" and some schmuck wants to criticize me, why?
Cause their jealous as hell because they don't know what to do or are too lazy to get off their ass and make something happen.
You said 7 out of 10 people make less than 50K right? I think that it's funny how when numbers like that get thrown around people include all the jiggaboos on wellfare who don't EARN a dime. That's 3-4 of the 7 right there. And how this country kids itself about the unemployment rate. 7% MY ASS! Add the wellfare rolls to that. IT'S LIKE 35%! But nobody wants to talk about that because then we would have to address the problem. 65% of the ex slaves refuse to work. And we pay them because if we didn't we would have violent insurrection. Is this not a fact? This country is in for a serious come to jesus in the next 1-50 years. Take my money...YOU'RE CRAZY YOU ALREADY GET HALF IS THAT NO ENOUGH!
Median household income was over $50k per US census bureau, so you are drawing conclusions from faulty data.
No matter how much govt taxes people, there will always be some making more than others. Those making less can either whine and complain or work their way up. Getting handouts from govt will not improve their lot.
In america, not everyone can drive cadillacs...but you can still drive a corolla...there is this sense of "entitlement" and people don't want to work hard for a living anymore and they want give me give give give me...how do you think part of the reason we got here today with this financial meltdown? people don't live within their means and want to be rich...living within their means saves money and don't starve like other people in the developing countries or europe...you should get out more and see other countries...america's poor here have it really good...
Not all jobs are the same
Not all jobs require the same education levels
Not all jobs require the same training
Not all jobs require the same responsibility
Not all jobs require the same hours
Not all jobs require the same hazards
Not all jobs require the same personal drive
Not all jobs require the same risk
Not all jobs are in demand
Not all jobs are desireable
It doesn't surprise me....
