Wikileaks is irrelevant. If they had anything they would have released it already. They were blowing smoke. Besides, either they did have something against the old management team (and therefore it doesn't apply), or they didn't have squat. Either way they are irrelevant.
Look at the 20%+ runup since the Wikileaks BS was released and you know that the Street doesn't believe a word of it. No way management would let that happen if there was anything legit. There would have been a rumor or whisper or something. Nah, that rapist at Wikileaks was just crying wolf, pretending to have something big to try to get out of the jam he is in. He bluffed, got called, and lost. Game over. He goes to jail anyway.
What is relevant is how this stock will react even if they hit the street's number (and what the outlook is going forward). I'm just wondering if this stock is going to move like JPM or like Wells Fargo (who met the street number, but the stock still got whacked).
I actually don't think they will release on a day when people expect it... which in my mind would be tomorrow.
I am starting to think more and more that it will be a non-event. Wikileaks has given BAC way too much time to prepare.
It will be interesting if it ever does happen!
