Those were Bush policies. Bush spent more than he brought in. He took us from 2T in debt to 9T. Obama was handed that. Now granted he's continuing it and making it worse, in his attempt to put cahs in the economy and I'm not saying that's right...but Obama didn't start that. And he hasn't raised taxes he's lowered them on 90%. He wants to raise them on the so-called rich because Bush lowered them to the point where the gov't wasn't bringing in enough money to cover the bills. Now, that rate on the rich is the lowest its been in their entire working lives. Are they "investing and creating jobs"? How much lower on them does it have to be. You're spouting sound bites.
Obama's liberal policies aren't causing Europe's problems. But Obama is following the same policies that Europe followed to cause their problems. Do you think the same problems won't ocur here?
Specifically the policies I'm referring to are spending far more money than the government takes in and raising tax rates to try to pay the interest only on the money being borrowed. Buying votes with the people's future earnings at a pace that cannot be sustained. Do you not understand that borrrowed money incurs interest expenses on top of the principal? The U.S. goverment is doing nothing different than the $30,000 per year wage earner that bought a $500,000 house did a few years ago. It never ends well.... Just look at Greece.
But again...can you name that "liberal policy" of Obamas that is causing Europes problems, which in turn is affecting our economy? If McCain was in office are you implying Europe wouldn't be where it is. Remember...you are blaming this on Obama. Instead of quoting Foxnews sound bites, give me one of those "liberal policies" of Obamas that has caused what is happening in Europe.
