“Already, some in Congress are trying to undo these automatic spending cuts. My message to them is simple: No. I will veto any effort to get rid of those automatic spending cuts to domestic and defense spending. There will be no easy off ramps on this one.”
As long as we're doing that one, here's an oldy-but-goody (2006) that is relevant as the charade of Obamaganda continues to implode on itself:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here.” Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better"
Yes, Mister Obama, we do deserve Better. Than. You. That is, at least the handful of us who are paying taxes and raising our kids to the same productivity standard. The ones who voted for you deserve the lifetime of chains around their wrists, necks, ankles and reproductive organs that you have hung on them and they have willingly accepted. By closing their minds to their enslavement, they have tossed away the key to the shackles. Congratulations, Mister Obama, slave master and charlatan extraordinaire.
