The mortgage problems in this country is a big bunch of #$%$. I lived through times when mortgages went from 8% to 14% and there was nothing done for us. I have see lawers walk away from homes and buy another one at less cost. It wasn't that they couldn't afford it, they just took advantage of the situation like more people in this country and they blame it on the banks as an excuse.
