    White House Suggestion Box

If your wife is REALLY concerned about nutrition, then mandate (and you DO have the power) that food stamps can onlly be used to purchase unprocessed food. Welfare folks can cook wholesome meals and learn a work ethic and a sense of accomplishment. Or are they truly lazy or are many getting a handout to supplement their regular income for vacations and cars?

    • It is a shame what is happening to this country. It started with Barney Frank's "house for everyone" to create the financial crisis. Bush's biggest mistake - TARP. Obama continuing the Bush mistakes and doubling down, spending like mad. It is truly sad what our kids, and us, will be left with. My crystal ball says buy things - Real things like property that has intrinsic value. Money and stocks will soon be worthless!! Just watch.

Our government is supporting homeownership because it is good for America, it is good for our families, it is good for our economy.

"This administration has recognized that, and so today I'm honored to be here to sign a law that will help many low-income buyers to overcome that hurdle, and to achieve an important part of the American Dream."
