i worked my way through grad school had three children while in school and paid all my own bills.so I know where you are. It will get better, I started my own window washing business in 1970 in Chicago and was making $10 per hr cash when minimum wage was 1.25 and also doing janitorial work as my wife worked as an LPN (low paid nurse). BE proud dont listen to those democrat idiots, you are probbaly already getting paid more than minimum wage and I know it isnt as much as you need to do what you want. But the other side is if you got more the prices would go up and you still would be where you are, The only way out is to improve yourself as you are doing and learn to save when you start making more. I wish you luck, you have taken the first step. Learning to do without is part of the process of becoming successful.
