I'd say we get an announcement this week of either a settlement or a lawsuit. I'd prefer a settlement, but can deal with a lawsuit. In a few months Holder will be gone. In less than 2 years Obama will be gone. It will take 4 - 5 years for a case to get to trial so there is a good chance that there will be a Republican appointed AG in office and not the current Tyrant if it comes to that.
Still hopeful for a settlement. Long BAC. Strong buy here. $25 - $30 in 18 months.
We know BAC lawyers are in talks with DOJ. DOJ wants more cash than BAC will allow at this point. BAC also knows that Holder will be gone soon, and Obama will be a further "lame duck" tha he is at present. we shareholders have been severely damaged by this Obama/Holder duo,..and these two POS persons know how much they have hurt the democRaps. The dems are pressuring the "dynamic duo" LOL as well. On the QT quite a number of Obama's own party want Him out!
Agreed. It is in neither side's interest to go to litigation. Both Obama and Holder want all bank litigation wrapped up before they go as it will be a part of their "legacy" as they've said. BAC does not need the overhang of another protracted lawsuit, and wrapping it up now will bring finality to the last large legal issue. After it's done it is back to business with no large legal liabilities left. We need that, but it's a tragic shame that the Chicago shake-down artists will have dented the bottom line so hard.
