Looks like a deal for Brocade is off the table...for now.
He was most recently chief executive of privately held network-technology provider Xsigo Systems Inc., which agreed in July to be bought by technology giant Oracle Corp. (ORCL).
CEO of Micromuse Inc., a networking-management-software provider that was bought by International Business Machines Corp. (IBM) for $865 million in 2005.
He has also held leadership roles at Juniper Networks Inc. (JNPR) and Nortel Networks Corp. (NRTLQ)
Let's hope he can broker a deal for Brocade . . . . . .
Funny that there was no AH trading today after the new CEO was announced. Don't know what to make of it. I guess investors just yawned and decided to wait until tomorrows trading to gauge market reaction. We'll see..
