not sure it means to much at this point...still a bunch of 100 share "investors" around. I have tried to buy 1000+ at limited bids but no dice. Does not seem to be much around to buy...specialist seems to be controlling in $6.60-6.90 range. I still like fact that the few mf and institutional investors are not selling out. Here's to a wonderful 2012
1. Berkshire Bancorp Inc. (BERK) is a regional bank that is currently trading with a P/B ratio of 0.46. The company's trailing twelve month ROE stands at 29.92%. Other notable valuation measures include a $107.60 million market cap, 4.09 price-to-sales ratio (P/S), and 83.70% quarterly earnings growth, year over year.
Glad to see you're still here...In addition to P to B (very significant),
the market cap & price to sales have some relevance. Rest IS Meaningless as noted.
However, more important is what they are going to do with excess capital
(e.g. dividend, repurchase shares....??)
We shall see.
MM was not the buyer...from price/volume records for Jan it seems apparent there is buyer(s) looking to (steadily) add. Market price has generally increased with higher volume. That's sounds good but then this specialist allows the 100 share trader to come in and dump at lower bid(s). That's the way it was last year as well. Nothing big will happen until MM acts (and that should be sooner rather than later)
I still feel it is good that none of institutions or MF's have tried to unload stock to MM (as he would certainly take it at current market)
