    • Man, I get tired of that argument. We've all seen the analogy of the ten men who go to lunch every day...the gist of it being that 2 or 3 of the ten are picking up 90% of the bill every time, just like our "fair" tax system.

Point being: THE RICHEST TAXPAYERS GET THE BREAK BECAUSE THEY'RE THE ONES PAYING ALL THE TAXES!!!

How in the hell do you give a tax break to someone that doesn't pay any taxes!!??

Answer: A giveaway, which is exactly what the democrats want to do. Get 51% of the population of this country dependent on the government and they will NEVER lose power.

      THOSE are the facts, dude.

      • Well,

You have to ask yourself: what is the point of the tax break?

If it is to stimulate the economy, it doesn't really make sense to give it to the richest people. They already have more money than they know what to do with.

To stimulate the economy you should give the tax breaks to those at the bottom. Those that spend every single penny that they get in. Those hardworking people who are living paycheck to paycheck. Every single DIME, whether it has FDR's face on it or Reagan's, would be pumped right back into the economy.

And that would cause more demand for goods, hence more jobs, hence more tax payers. After 24 years of tax cuts for the rich, haven't we learned that they don't pay for themselves?

Just my two cents. Which brings up another thought. It is a penny for your thoughts, but you have to put your two cents in. Somebody is getting ripped off!

        Should I blame the taxes?
