Neurontin.... (remember I'm the guy trying to help my roomate with MS, who PFE cut off from this drug)....
We have had one hell of a wek, begging Doctors for samples, searching the net only to find numerous lawsuits against PFE for "generic squashing".
To the people who answered my plea sarcastically, I won't lower myself to your levels except pray that you or someone you know NEVER gets MS, is disabled making 5k a year, then is cut off from medical assistance.
Anyway, last week I sent a leter to PHA pleading for help.... Now I hear they are getting bought out by PFE? WILL PFE SQUASH PHA'S GENERIC NEURONTIN?
TO the gentleman who suggested contacting PFE public relations dept, I have been unsuccessful finding such a link on their web page.
I will continue to try and find a way to bridge this loophole that will leave my roommate crippled.
I have contacted some News Stations Am contacting State reps. Have contaced a prominent Tampa Lawfirm
Sorry folks I don't give a RATS ASS about PFE and their dividends. They made a commitment to my roomate, then left her in a lurch. I'll reserve other things for the deposition.
"I was just surprised Fred let go his company. Heck, he just started it! He didn't even get his two feet wet yet!! Hmmmm... I wonder if he's got other plans..."
If I was getting his severance package, I know what MY plans would be...any tropical islands for sale? Unfortunately, that won't happen with the severance package that THIS Pharmacia employee will get (should the Pfizer gods deem me unnecessary to their purpose).
Pat, I didn't try to correct you. You were right in your statement. I was correcting mtcrhp9.
You know what? I bet you a a hundred moolah's the deal will go thru!! I was just surprised Fred let go his company. Heck, he just started it! He didn't even get his two feet wet yet!! Hmmmm... I wonder if he's got other plans...
Thats what I said. For everyshare of PHA you will receive 1.4 shares of PFE. They were using the price of PHA at closing on 7/12. Which will change as the price of PFE changes, I guess. Sorry for the mess up. bopeep
I don't understand these mechanisms, so bear with me. If PFE are buying PHA at a fixed price of $45.08, why would PHA still rise? Has the "exchange rate" PHA stock for stock in the new company been set yet? Thanks.
It's not a fixed price. PHA shareholders will get 1.4 PFE shares for each share of PHA. Based on this PHA should be trading $2.5 higher. Apparently, there is some concern that this deal can be canceled, for instance EU could block it.
