my conjecture only----TC will reach equilibrium of $5.25 just on raw value alone----BUT....
CRB index declining and Dollar price action, in essence----macroeconomic realities----will rule the day as they always do. But TC would seem to be at fair value around $5.25 absent good macroeconomic conditions.
gcoffman . Thompson creek could explode Wall street always overbuys or oversells a stock.Sure TC is facing head winds of a stronger dollar but its in canada and Canadian currency will fluctuate less than the say the yen or the Euro..After the first year this mine goes into production it pulls out about 600 million in ore reduces some its debt to RG . That is almost a double in total capitalization inthe first year. And sure we can point to weakness in gold prices and copper ,but for how long 22 years is along time. This stock with just the mine has sold over 20 its getting a little pressnow and i notice some houses have gone from sell to buy.
Those are great points bobbi. I definitely don't want to get shortsighted on this. I'm so used to having a trading mentality that when I actually find a GREAT longer term investment/trade it's easy to fall into that mindset. Thanks.
