first off "yuramoran is right" my reference to
500% was to infer that ciena would have to five fold
itself to reach approx its 52 wk high. I originally
stated it incorrectly.
regarding yuramoran, if
your trying to impress this board with your child-like
vulgarity think again. your posts are offensive, your shock
appeal doesn't work. your not funny, your quite sad
really. I suspect you'll have a reply in your typical
GO FIND THE UPDATED ARTICLE ON THE BLOOMBERG
WEBSITE, THEY ACTUALLY REBUTTED THE REBUTTAL FROM
TLABS..THAT IS AMAZING
!! THEY OBVIOULSLY STAND BY THEIR
SOURCES, AND SO DO I !!
,.i hope you are all reading
this post for your own goods...heres why...i realized
today after reading the article that tell labs rebutted
against knowing of the cancelled contract given to
perelli, that bloomberg put up a fight even against that
statement !! they stick to their story of people close to
the company who gave them this scoop of tlab knowing
about this deal was liable to somewhat fall through !!
this is not going to matter !!
fishy.. i believe since they are in a quiet period that
the management of tlab HAD TO come out and deny the
truth of the bloomberg article, because a violation of
that quiet period would have the sec all over them..so
you see folks this deal will go through as the ceo
had said a month ago..and he did in fact know that
this deal may not go thru for the full amount, just
like he knew att was gonna bail....to make it look
good and for good faith the board may meet again and
they just may drop the buyout price to .75...but that
is worst case scenario and may ultimately help both
stocks, because it would no longer be considered that
tlab is overpaying for ciena so ultimately that would
actually raise tlabs price cause investors would think
tlab now has a good deal..hence cienas price would go
up too..WIN WIN SITUATION...this is a no brainer at
this measly 19 dollar level..i am too tired to explain
again why it is such a good entry point, but i know it
LET ME JUST SAY THAT WHEN ASCEND WAS SAID TO HAVE
BEEN INTERESTED IN BUYING STRATUS COMMUNICATIONS WHILE
MANY SAID THE STORY MUST BE CRAP..I REMEMBER READING
"THE PEOPLE SAID" EVEN I LAUGHED AT THAT
STATEMENT,,BUT NOW I KNOW BETTER..BLOOMBERG ARTICLE IS
TRUE..CASE CLOSED...take it to the bank..tell labs was
warned of the possibility, and may even have known of it
.after hours this stock traded a million shares
and mostly at around 20 7/8 ...i am talking some huge
huge block buys..of up to 200000 shares.. some big
trades went off at 21 and change but some did go off at
20 1/4..so we were doing well in after hours...trust
me when i tell you that you all should trust
bloomberg.."the people said" is good as gold..tlab only has to
try to cover it up now..like i said they had no
choice but to throw a rebuttal up to that statement, and
are now trying to locate the executive or executives
that leaked the info to bloomberg.
.i plan on
making a nice piece of change on ciena within the next
few days...stock is dirt fricking cheap at 19 3/4 and
my new in price is 19...so i am gonna make out
well..i fyou got in at 34 just sit tight and collect that
amount in a few weeks...THIS ONE IS A NO BRAINER !!

Typing in all caps does not make you
a better trader.
You obviously have lost a
great deal on this stock, and that is why you are
getting so worked up about things. As you gain experience
you will learn that bad trades are to be expected,
and perhaps you will also learn that betting your
"hard" earned money on "sure things" like CIEN do not
always work. If you need any advice, please feel free to
ask for it.
Just turn off the caps lock key
before you do.
on the wall.
Deal must happen.
The due diligence process and the tender offer
thereafter essentially locks TLAB into a deal. A deal the
marketplace was satisfied was worth better than $30 as
Hooray for accountability.
In my opinion stock holders are over reacting.
This company is
debt free. They do have good
products. Though I wonder ATT timing. I think deal will go
through, not just becuase of products but the technical
expertise they have.
