I really doubt it was the earnings report. CMGI has been improving for several quarters and there was no high expectactions on profits just yet. The charts are all upward and getting ready for sustained profitabilty with the NEW economy. The big boys just skeered the kiddies away from their quarters. How anyone could sell (exception traders) that called themselves long is beyond me? This is what I have been waiting for. Just wonder if we can get an amendment to the constitution to get ARNOLD for president. MMMMMM
With CMGI, the key appears to be the success of the Modus acquisition and the resultant China trade. We will have to wait another quarter or two to see how that pans out. I agree with the "bears" that the financial results were not particularly good with eroding margins, which by the way were very thin last quarter at 6% to begin with, and lower net operating income. I did like McMillan's upbeat assessment of the future.
