down, but not out (for cmgi)

cmgi is making a profit with lots of extra cash.......so it may be going down for now, but it will not be out because of bankruptcy......so time is on its side......but I agree that Management has to be given the boot asp!!!

    • Just so you know I believe that Cmgi should liquidate and distribute the cash to its shareholders. They should have done this long ago. Think about it this way... If this management team was a Mutual Fund would you give them more money? With the track record they have this decade there is no way that anyone with a sound mind would let these folks manage there money. With this management team how much is the cash worth? What are the chances that the margins improve?

      • Simple math shows that the margin is not the key in making money, VOLUME is!! The SCM businesses have always operated with small margins (couple of cents per unit). So the higher the volume the more money you make. Also the cost for higher volume SHOULD decrease per unit. Now I agree that the current cmgi Sr.management are not holding their managers accountable for the screw-ups. Therefore they are failing and therefor we all are screwed.
NOTE: By replacing the current managers with savvy business/operating/IT people the company would be worth at least 30 bucks with one quarter!!! However the guys at the top are unable to hire the right people with guts to turn this company upside down. They had also many lucky breaks after losing HP and Kodak business. The luck is going to run out sooner or later and then the top will be booted.

      • margins are improving.....shows how much you know.
Also, learn how to spell. It's their, not there. Nice try to distract, Sobi.
Again, your BS will NOT fly here Jonny come (very) lately.

      • why would they do that. give up all their jobs to liquidate the company. nobody does that, its a stupid comment. you got nothing
