I believe Lawler would not only like to see a buyout but is trying to expedite by refusing H&H's request.
Lets face it Lawler is at the end of his productive life. By that I mean the drive to succeed. He was over his head when he took over MLNK (CMGI) and was paid by the company millions of dollars in compensation and stock. A gracefull way of leaving would be a buyout. He has been successful on a personal basis.
