Did Steel just put MLNK in play?
There are others interested in MLNK. The current deal with Steel Partners has an out if MLNK management receives an unsolicited bid that is more attractive than the current one. I guess Steel wins either way- they either get a controlling position in the company or they spark a bidding war.
