    good day

Does anyone know what price the company split at, the last time it split. Low volume today, I hope its the quiet before the storm
Hopefully the storm upwards. CMGI has traded almost 5,000,000 above $50 based on closing prices. According to IBD the stock only has a float of only 4.5 Million. Looks like it is form a strong base in the 50's. Any Comments?

      • Thanks for bringing the discussion back to CMGI and away from IBNL. This is the CMGI board after all.

CMGI never did anything with Doubleclick so they aren't spinning off competing companies. What David Wetherell is doing is assembling a great portfolio of internet companies that complement each other and is intelligently using his current strengths to leverage these companies.

When you consider the value the market has placed on Doubleclick, the Accipiter and Engage combination can't be too far behind. Adding this value to the value of Lycos and Geocities and Planet Direct and the dozens of other holdings, this stock has a lot more room to grow. I agree there is a solid base in the lower 50's but doubt we'll ever get back there. For those waiting on the sidelines waiting to get in, I feel for you. I've been there and it is not fun.
