Yes it can. A combination of stock Repurchases, Positive earnings and a merger with another company and within a year $ 60 is very possible. The research you sight has to be flawed. Because I've seen many stocks return from severe lows, not just Nasdaq, but NYSE as well. Also, Many companies make management changes, sell assets, merge and or change names as part of a re-org, and you don't see the recovered company as the same one... but the stockholders do.
Personally speaking, it's a wrong move to buy now at this price, I would never consider to buy in more than $2 or less, and is going to happen very very soon. Once the MM's starting to unload, even $2 will be way too high.
i've seen similar messages for months as one credulous investor after another has crowed that "it can't go any lower". it can go lower, much lower. if you've put any appreciable amount of cash into this dog even a small loss per share translates to major losses. face it, the days of easy money in the market are over. back to basics.
The market has been killed,we're in a recovery mode. .com's took it on the chin (esp.CMGI).This my dear boy is bargin basement prices for a stock like this.Extreamly low down side risk. The sky is the limit on the upside.I'll say it again.. BARGIN BASEMENT PRICES!! imo
