    Market Cap

The valuation (26 mil) of this company seems too small even when compared with lower quality regionals, and even assuming a s/h dilution to raise funds and shrinking the company to throw off liabilities.

The structure of the company appears to allow for shedding banks at the direction of the FDIC rather than a seizure.

Lower share price from here means the market is projecting they will cease to exist, but most scenarios where CBC survives would be more than current valuation.

Seems like less risk in stock price that has already been crushed. Coin flip time.

    • CBC will not exist unless they raise capital soon. In my opinion an equity investor would find it very hard to evaluate all the small bank loan portfolios in order to make an informed decision. The NPA's are too large for this bank to survive. Investors would be wise to let it fail and buy good assets from FDIC.

I am long CBC pa and hope I am wrong.
