    Breaking Fri News: Pfizer bids for Antares, Teva...

    blocks the bid...

    According to journalist, analyst, and Vegas showman, Scott Matusow, he is conveying to investors that--

    "the rumor i heard came from trading desks. however, rumors and rumors, hard to say where they originate exactly from, but when they come from trading desks, those are the very people involved with the stock underwriters who make the deals. what i heard was that Pfizer was the bidder, but TEVA has some clause with AIS that gives them right of first refusal, and they used it. but again, please remember, this could be total bs. I am not the one making the rumor up, I just stated exactly what i heard. gl!"

    Is this litigation a battle for Antares? Is that why we see the two giants Teva and Pfizer at war in trial? I see a potential connection.

      You seem to be very astute at arranging the tea leaves to say what you want them to. This was said in a conversation between Scott and myself on this forum, not in his column. Why you ask? because this is all based of rumor and speculation... hmmm who tries to move stocks on rumor and specualtion? Oh pumper/dumpers thats right. Good day

        Quoted at length, nothing is taken out of context. Matusow stated the rumor and relayed a source for it.

        I say things like this have to be taken seriously. Matusow knows people, and people know people, and the Market is always one step ahead as if by magic.

        Given that Teva and Pfizer are locked in a legal battle over VIBEX, I see merit to Matusow's rumor. It looks rather straightforward to me -- both giants like/want control over the Antares injector program. While they fight in court, they are fighting out of court over the buy-out price for Antares.

        I submit, it makes sense. This rumor may have legs. Let each investor decide, but I listen to Matusow.
