Comments from this board may become entertaining with this new announcement, useful or not. What this patent can do allows equipment to be put to use by industry as well as the military and opens up an entire new door for critical need of power in remote areas. Water technology? Definitely! There is a dire shortage of pure water in remote areas of Africa, Australia, Asia, and almost any continent on the planet except the Arcticas. There is other patented technologies that could make pure water available in remote areas were efficient solar portable equipment could be made available.
When and where this is put into use opens huge opportunities will happen when creative investors catch the opportunity.
There should be information soon or likely by or during the ASM in Orlando.

Ecosphere Technologies Receives U.S. Patent for Mobile Solar Power System U.S. Army Plans to Spend $7B on Renewable Energy by 2020 STUART, Fla., Nov. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EcosphereTechnologies, Inc. (OTCBB:ESPH), an innovative U.S. technology licensing and manufacturing company that develops environmental solutions for global markets, today announced that the United States Patent & Trademark Office has approved U.S. Patent No. 8,593,102 for Ecosphere's revolutionary Ecos PowerCube(R) , a portable, self-contained micro-utility that uses solar power to provide electricity in the most remote, off-grid locations.
Next comes a water purification system run on moonbeams. The Mac is such a schmarty, just keeps inventing things that won't sell. Now we have the patent on something probably no one wants besides the water cleaners,so that's worth a raise for the Mac.Instead of more awards for the company, award Mac a raise.Go Mac,right to the bank.Judging from the stock price the public doesn't seemed too impressed either.Oh well, maybe tomorrow It'll move or next year or never for that matter. It's time for some love from the pumpers though.(chortle)
Eagle, what shareholders want is sales, revenue, and profit the fundamentals of any real
company. They have danced around the water cleaning business with dismal results
now they have spent needed funds on a totally different venture. Make one work then move on to the next.
Badger, not sure as to the gas generator you're referring to. May be something new. What source is the gas coming from? If a well, wells are not available where the solar unit may be needed. There are countless places where electricity is needed at remote sites that have no electrical grid, diesel fuel, or other energy source. I don't see this as a quick fix for sgi or lilt's concern for immediate sales, but since I wasn't in on the reason for the patent, I'm waiting to find out.
