Now I never like to key on "adjusted" numbers but since that seems to be the norm here - the good news is that on that basis we made around a million bucks on the operating line and were up Y-Y on EBITDA. Also even eked out a bit of positive cash flow. I would say far Al is doing what Al does.. Manage the cost strucure to be aligned with revenues and refocusing the business on profitable work. This has been a recurring problem with this company for quite some time - taking work that wasn't profitable. As he inevitably rationalizes this, we will likely see a small (translation - lower revenue) company that is far more profitable. The issue I continue to struggle with is how the market has chagned and whether or not HPOL can successfully position themselves for the future. At $0.60, it's a no brainer IMHO!
I agree with you Kutu and the charge off for Asia was $1.4 million. I lightened my load and took out some profits this month, but if we see a serious dip, I will buy more shares. I was hoping to be able to do this yesterday but to my surprise it held up pretty good. I will be watching and ready today and tomorrow.
