I don't know about 70 being the bottom. Until the housing mess starts to clear up I think were going to see a steady slow decline in most REITs for the next year. It's really unfortunate that a good commercial reit like VNQ is being punished because of a totally unrelated housing mortgage problem. I am also afraid that we need to see T-bill rates drop before we see much interest in REITS again. I am waiting for VNQ to slide to about 65 or at least 9 months from now before I consider buying again.
