Is so, why?
1. VNQ has a MUCH lower fee .1% vs .48%2. VNQ only includeds equity REITs, and excludes mortgage REITs. This means VNQ only owns the companys that own buildings and does NOT own the companys that ONLY own mortgages.
Thanks for your input. VNQ not holding mortgages makes it my pick,didn't know that b/4.
They look quite similar in their performance numbers, dividend, and basket of REITS...The weightings / names of the stocks differ somewhat...( the mgmt fee is a tad lower for VANGUARD.....).ALL IN ALL THO, EITHER ONE WILL DO...IMO (I just happen to like Vanguard)
