My personal opinion is that you're a little late here. The yields on this and similar REIT's have declined into the 3% territory. That's way too small for me, and might be indicative of a market top for REIT's. Same with high-yield bonds, where, for example, the yield on SPHIX is way down to about 5.5%, super-low for a junk bond fund. I'd be careful. In fact, I need some cash available, and this is what I'm selling.
