Angie's List's Undisclosed Class Action Suit: What Could It Mean To Shareholders?

They will be out of cash in 2 years. Sooner if they do not successfully defend the law suit. The law suit in any case will bring adverse publicity to the business mode and reveal the less than ethical standard they operate the business. This will be a big hit. Stock goes down from here.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • They may have more than an ethical problem. There could be a far more interesting development. probably will end in an out of court settlement though as the attorney fees clocks are already spinning.

      • probably not, this is class action and they'll have to get hundreds of thousands to agree to settle it and we're only talking $10-$100 each, so no reason for most to take pennies on the dollar very soon, lawyers usually take years to settle a class action, this will be at least a year unless they offer a huge sum, which they can't afford.
