Poor website functionality and overall service
I signed up for the full service about 6 months ago since we moved to a new neighborhood. My wife and I struggled at times to get good results from contractors we selected through the website, so we wanted to see when the subscription was up. What a mess. Apparently Angie's List retains your Paypal info and CC info and will auto-renew you. Can you cancel this through the website? Apparently not. Instead they force you to write them a letter (can you say administrative bloat, as well as inconveniencing/irritating the customer?). Better yet, their website functionality for the letter is so poor that it has no idea who wrote the online letter unless you specifically add your contact info in the body of the letter. Unbelievable. They do a great job of antagonizing their customer base.
I have never owned this stock, but I wanted to warn the rest of you. This company would receive a grade of F from me for customer service, but unfortunately their website only allows us trade grade others in the service industry. Invest your money elsewhere.
