    start tanking in more oil

"Hurricane Rita has caused more damage to oil rigs than any other storm in history and will force companies to delay drilling for oil in the US and as far away as the Middle East, initial damage assessments show..."

Those two hurricanes were terrible! TNP has been up and down like a rollercoaster following the oil sector in the wake of these disasters.

    • "TNP has been up and down like a rollercoaster"...???????
The charts show that it has moved a maximum of about 5 12% in either direction from $37.50 over the past 2 months. Not much of a rollercoaster.

Yes, but rollercoasters do start and stop at the same place. Just a whole lot of ups and downs without really going anywhere. I just meant that the charts seem to follow the oil sector and tanker sector... The low volume seems to indicate we're all waiting for some company news so we can see some real movement. Bulls and Bears have placed their bets, and we watch...

    • Yeah and dont you think that if we do have a problem with extracting crude, TNP will benefit, because they will be more demand for carriers.

Plus what this company is going to benefit is really more demand in the world supply, with China, India, ect.... countries that need crude brought into them for refining.

Over all the industry will be good, and the financials look good!
