I believe YUM price is up and MCD price is down because MCD's CEO plans to quit.
It seems those who sold MCD at $100 per share knew this before we could know. Two or three weeks ago I sold YUM and bought MCD in search of better price-to-earings ratios in a large fast-food company investing in China. After I bought more MCD at a lower price I found news that some investors are worried that the new CEO doesn't have enough international experience for the competition with rival Yum Brands. It almost seems I'm manipulated to the point that if I buy more MCD the price will decline, and if I sell MCD the price will recover and go over $100 per share. I guess if I buy 2.2 percent U.S. Treasury bonds I'd crash the bond market.
