The burgers have too much fat content, the angus have too much seasoning and the fries are too small and are often cold as are the hash browns. They need more variety.
How about a chicken sandwich with cheese and tomato sauce. They already have most of the ingredients. They should microwave their food to get it hotter. The precooked food is often warm or cool. The kids meals could be excepted.
That's the secret ingredient for them to get their salae rising again. Coffee variations and salads are hiding the detrioration in the sales of their mainline items.

Ever since our local Five Guys opened up about a year and a half ago, I've noticed that it's been very very full afternoons and late evenings. I reckon they've taken away a measurable share of business from the McD store about a half mile away. Five Guys burgers aren't cheap but boy, are they good. And the free peanuts is a great touch - customers love them.
I can see McD stock testing its 52 week low before December. Some tax-loss selling may clip a dollar or two off the stock too. So, if you're thinking of buying now - don't. Be patient and wait for an entry price about $5 cheaper.
