It appears that Thompson (CEO) sold one-third of his shares and Fenton (COO) sold 40% of his shares recently. In fact, it looks as if practically all insider activity has been on the sell side during the past year. This doesn't instill a whole lot of confidence that the insiders, those who theoretically know the company best, think the stock will move up over the near term.
No faith should be placed in MCD. The insiders sell because they know they are killing the public. The food served up at MCD is caustic and promotes bad health. They are simply looking out for their own best interest, selling guarantees them a little money in their pocket.
