It only makes sense, they are the leader in SSD Tech. and are dirt cheap. EMC will continue to buy through SNDK for its SSD's and SNDK will pick up the technologies without the big expense hit. WIN, WIN!!!!!!!!!
Here's the thing...buyers will not put out a bid until they can 100% solidify a deal. The fear is that other guys will step in and up the bid. That's why there's been a lot of talk and not closure. I think it gets done at a much higher multiple given the precedence we've seen with other deals.
I'm not surprised about STEC bought out by SNDK or EMC or IBM or DELL. Reasons: 1. STEC has high tech for SDD and NAND. 2. Very cheap at this current price. 3. No debts and lots of Cash in hand. and ?????
