Real estate sales are what drove JOE to astronomical levels before and that is what would do it this time. Unfortunately for JOE, most of their core business (luxury community/home sales) is still licking its wounds. At this point, JOE would need a game changer such as a major employer relocating to the Panhandle or a large non jobs-based development such as a Del Webb or The Villages retirement community. Otherwise, I think the company will muddle along at the mercy of the larger economy.
