Watch the debt clock. It won't be long until reads 11,111,111,111. How long you think before Obama pushes it to 22,222,222,222 (officially recognized, that is)?

no problem. As long as ink and paper remain cheap, its ok. Seriously...has anyone thought about the fact that printing money will not have the same affect on gold this time? Especially in a schitzoid deflation-inflation market.Im long only silver as it seems very cheap in ratio to gold.
I believe that silver and gold will both do well in the future, however I do believe gold is a better hedge to inflation. But, with that being said - gold has had a better move up, so in the short term maybe silver will do better.
cool clock
I think you meant 11,111,111,111,111 and 22,222,222,222,222. I know it can get confusing when you are having to use so many digits.
And, yes I think Obama and all of the politicians (on both sides of the aisle) in D.C. are going to destroy this currency. Pretty soon we are going to have to start incorporating quadtrillion into our vocabulary. I say HANG THEM ALL!
By the way, nice web site link.
With inflation $11,188,710,808,574 aint what it used to be.
Hmm. So each citizens share of debt is $30,000ish? Big deal. That is like one year in a private school! This about a 2-week hospital stay. Get ready for higher taxes.
Obama will have gold blowing by $2000+ in the near future GO OBAMA!!! (-:

It would be about time, since gold has done virtually nothing for 30 years, inspite of massive inflation and money printing over this period. How much bigger is our deficit/debt today than 1980 and yet gold is virtually same *nominal* price. Sad.
