in my mind. Oh, and how's that 2% (so called) fractional reserve banking system doing? Uh oh!! USD gets VERY strong from here, as does the Yen (relative to everything but USD).
Eventually, we devalue too.....but that's down the road. Expect interest rates here to stay low for a while, thanks to quant easing. Eventually the US is in the same boat as Enland, and our off the shelf long bonds become worthless.

The strong USD hurts gold (plus the fact that gold is useless in all reality), but others may want to buy some, thus buttressing it. I wouldn't buy or sell here. I'd only short he pound sterling and buy the Yen with Euro and Pound sterling.
