Chicklettes for Power - Dateline Mexico

Dateline - San Ysidro. Gray Davis and visiting El Presidente Vincente Fox today announced an agreement whereby Californians will sell Chicklettes at the U.S. Mexican border to visiting power wealthy Mexican tourists, in exchange for electric credits from Mexico. Under the agreement, power poor California residents will be able to sell Chicklettes, and other tourist items in a deregulated environment with no price caps. For every dollar worth of sales, 5 electric credits will be given. Mark Smythe, a layed off Qualcomm employee, was very excited about this program. "My wife and I are saving up electric credits so we can turn the TV on this Sunday to watch the Oscars (tm)."

In a related development, Davis said there was no truth to the rumor that he had asked visiting Fox for foreign aid. But he did say that he asked for permission to allow Anglo farm workers into Mexico to help with the harvest this summer. "We want to cut the immigration red tape," Davis said, so California residents can work in Mexico and send money back to their families in California to help buy electricity.
