Did you read the full article. DCF analysis gave them 39$/share,but when risks of competition from Generics is figured in--they get 27$/share.
They also mention--PATENT PROTECTION IS KEY.
I think it is like Warner Lambert with Lipitor in 1997-- No one understood its potential.Pfizer who was doing their marketing wasn't interested in offering big price--but in 1999,Pfizer gave them 99$billion. when bidding war started and Merck realized that they are losing their domination in STATIN market.
you will be kicking yourself later, do your DD and you will see AMRN is an excellent investment. I dont know if it get picked up by BP but if so it will be in the 20+ to $30 range unless someone wants it real bad then id say $40's. Even if they go it alone, 2 years from now you will see $40's. Just be patient, im not saying put it all in but I did some time ago and not worried one bit, just watching the clock and knowing something big is going on behind the scenes, dont wait to long if you buy more, patent news coming soon, NCE will happen, PTO just waiting on patents to issue imo, partnership/buyout could be announced anytime, ANCHOR sNDA eoy and good to go by 2Q 2013 whats not to like! Good Luck
I am sitting on 2 other big holdings that are profitable but have news coming out any day now. I am gambling that these pop, and they will, and I can cash out and put it ALL in amrn before a buyout. Someone quoted bruce jenner the other day...quite frankly unless bruce wants to give details about him tapping kim k., I dont care what he says. Mark Cuban has said when you see a good thing and are confident about a positive return...go all in.
You can find the article on streetinsider.com .However JPM said that simple DCF analysis gives them 39$/share,but when they add risks/probability of future bad events(like Generics),they come out with 27$/share--which is their PRICE TARGET.
