You have got to ask: Who other than AMRN is on the verge of launching a new CV drug and then
if there are others is there a Chief Commercial Officer in their heirarchy? I dont have universal knowledge but the answoers appear obvious: "NONE"
you have to read it , Its Says
1) Help define the culture, structure and future direction of the Amarin field sales force.
2) Worked with a Contract Sales Organization to leverage infrastructure needed to assemble and manage a large sales force and associated support functions.
This is a good thingthey need to start selling it soon
But a contract sales org is just that - not employees - the contract is with a firm such as Quintiles
Sentiment: Strong Buy
There are 12 pharma companies in Bridgewater NJ and several more in the area, not sure I have time to see if any of them have a drug available for launch outside AMRN. Plural products could be just a typo. But again, makes sense to move forward toward a launch, puts pressure on Big Pharm to make immediate offers after NCE next week or will go along without you. BO in October or bust.
I came across that posting in July and hypothesized that the recruiter forgot to remove "Amarin" from the content, supposed to be anonymous. Lists CSO experience as desirable. However, Joe Z did say that another option besides buyout/full partner would be launch with "help" from a third party. Not convinced the Quintiles is AMRN linked. Nonetheless, still think this would be prudent and moving forward on all fronts until deal (B/O or partner) is inked officially.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
