why else would JoeZ need ''...good initial sales data...'' if they aren't going for a buyout?
Joseph S. Zakrzewski - CEO
''.....I’ve been asked many times, what will make a successful year for Amarin in 2013, and where do we go from here? My answer is simple. If we do the following five things the rest will take care of itself.
First; GOOD INITIAL SALES DATA on Vascepa and the initial launch.
Two, managed care, continued migration from Tier-3 to Tier-2.
Number three, which we’ve already accomplished somewhat of the ANCHOR patents.
Number four, the ANCHOR submission which again we announced two days ago, and
number five, continuing to excel and deliver on our supply chain commitment....''
Good initial sales builds momentum, he believes in the product is all it says, with a good sales-ramp, no buyout is needed to ramp sales. Sure, they will need a large sales-force for anchor, getting a sales-force is not a problem if they already have handsom sales for marine, they can afford it. Problem is, that sales-force will lack the synergies that the BP sales-forces have. So a partner/buyout is the best option for creating optimal value for anchor, and with good sales from marine, that will take care of itself, and the value will be HIGH!
