Not more good news. Being "speculated" upon on ST and IHUB that AMRN has tier 2 with Aetna. If true that means more patients, more revenue and more dominoes to fall. Now we need AF, Motley Fool and Forbes to come up with some really dubious piece to protect their previous dubiousness.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Just went ot Atena, looks like tier 2 to me. Not sure when it changed but it looks like it is indeed tier 2. Went to the site and fumbled around a bit and I came across the info. Can be a bit confussing to someone unaccustomed to the site, however, I feel like I confirmed it for myself.
Correction: JZ told me that they are trying to move to Tier 2 from Tier 3.
I had called him about Caremark trying to force me to switch to Lovaza .Any how I asked Caremark if he knew Lovaza raised LDL-C by 49%. He did NOT--but looked up quickly-while we were talking and said-it does raise by 45%. I asked him to inform his bosses--who are sending letters--that Lovaza raises LDL-c which is bad. It is proven that LDL-C should be lowered. The pharmacist at CAREMARK agreed. and told me he is sending the letter.
By the way,Caremark charged me 30$ CO PAY for 90 days supply without COUPON. I was paying 25$ co pay for 30 days suply thru Wegman.
I spoke to JZ,CEO 3 weeks ago about Tier 2. He told me they are trying hard to move from Tier 2 to Tier 3.I sent him a letter,he responded the same day thru his secretary. She called at 3PM.Since I was tied up,we spoke at 5.00PM. My question was about CVS/Caremark from whom I buy my Vascepa.
I just ordered 3 months--90 days supply--even without coupon,my co pay was 30$. I used coupon for first 3 times--first time co pay 0$,second month co pay 25$,3rd month 25$ co pay.So buying thry caremark,I pay less for 3 months-90 days supply WITHOUT COUPON.
